In 2004, Money dropped the first Hooka mixtape and set Houston's underground on fire. Now the sequel to the Hooka mixtape is set to drop. Hooka 2: Thug Passion will feature Daviz Logic of Spain, Milo Deezy of Germany, LeFrench Californien of France, True Fame of SUC and many more. The mixtape is due to drop this fall. Money has been hard at work writing and recording a new gospel mixtape called Holy Ghost Sista. "I've really seen the power of God in my own life and others. I feel I can better articulate what I feel in the spirit. Ultimately, I want to use this to help people." The mixtape will drop later this year and promises to reach a new generation of believers.

From Spain to Germany to France and of course the US, Montreea’s voice is poised to land on various records this year. She is currently working on vocals that will appear alongside the following artists in both secular and gospel: Rev. Rob, Da Key, Whodie Slimm, F.O.E., Daviz Logic, God’s Writer, Compton Le French Californien, S.A.I.N.T., Willo tha Wiz and Milo Deezy. Montreea is currently recording 2 joint albums that will drop in Europe.
Montreea has managed to land on one of music’s most competitive MP3 charts. Let’s Get Married has spent the last few month’s in the Top 25 and has logged over 12,000 downloads. The love song was written by Montreea and appears on the Dreamweaver mixtape.
“When you’re getting tons of opportunity to sing but no breaks, things have to change. Changed my name, my direction and next, my image,” states Money. To help polish her career, Money has assembled a team to revamp her image including high fashion photographer Yasmine Kateb and world class stylists, Teamira, Inc. New pictures will be posted soon.
Recently, Money cranked out a new R&B tune called “Next in Line”. It is slated to appear on Thug Passion.
Houston rapper, Willo tha Wiz, recently dropped by Montreea’s studio to lay vocals for “Get Da Bizness”. Willo is a seasoned veteran that has appeared on many collabs with Montreea including “Touch Da Flo” and “Morning Come”. This latest collab is scheduled to appear on Hooka 2: Thug Passion which is dropping soon.
Houston’s own, Mama Dee will be hosting an event on Feb. 18th for senior citizens. The event will join various speakers and its sole purpose will be to uplift the elderly. Mama Dee is the founder of TransformHer Ministries. Montreea will be speaking on faith during the event. Details will be posted soon.
On Feb. 25th, Team Salvation will be holding a Black History concert at Sharpstown Mall. The event will feature many Houston area artists including Da Key, Prosperitee, Montreea, God’s Writer and more. It begins at 6pm and will be held at Sharptown Mall located at 7551 Bellaire Blvd. in Houston, TX.
On January 20, 2012 4 women of God delivered sermons at IGH Ministries’ Preacher Bowl. The theme was “I’m Knocked Down but Not Knocked Out”. Guest ministers included Prophetess Tonya Debose, Minister Cherokita Ruben, Pastor Jennice Jackson & Montreea. There was a packed house and a wonderful time was had by all.
German rapper and producer, Milo Deezy, screwed and chopped various gospel and holy hip hop joints on Montreea’s latest gospel screw tape, Holy Ghost Leanin II.
